The dancing doll is an integral part of the Kondapalli craft. It is known for its dancer-like continuous movements with slow-damping swinging which is a signature Kondapalli trait. Its unique shape and colors are appealing to the eye and the swinging adds to its undeniable magnificence. Every part of the doll is handcrafted separately and then put together using an iron rod. It is made out of softwood and organic, vegetable dyes. The intricate designing on the doll greatly adds to its overall beauty. Our terracotta toy can increase the aesthetic value of your house and liven up your space with its beautiful, bright colors.
Our Kondapalli toys hold the skill of artisans which has been handed over to them through time and generations. They are handcrafted by the artisans of Kondapalli village and are also known as 'Kondapallibommalu'. Hence, the name Kondapalli has been bestowed upon these toys. This craft is 400 years old and forms the essence of our country. They use a special kind of wood called 'Punki' which is only found in the hilly areas of that region. These toys are coloured using only organic and natural dyes which makes this craft absolutely special and distinctive. They take a center stage during Sankranti and Navratri festivals. These toys add a touch of unique and traditional ambience to any house.
Our artisan products are made with the aim of bringing back and retaining the craft which is slowing walking the path of extinction. We not only aim to sustain this craft but also want to encourage the livelihoods of the artisans of our country. We try to connect our customers to Indian heritage through these traditional products. These toys not only increase the aesthetic appeal of your house but also bring a wave of originality to it.
