Product Description: Monterey Jack was made by the Mexican Franciscan friars of Monterey, California, during the 19th century.Californian businessman David Jack sold the cheese commercially. He produced a mild, white cheese, which came to be known as "Jack's Cheese", and eventually "Monterey Jack".

Q Factor: Monterey Jack Cheese is handmade and sourced from fresh milk out of Curemonte's own farm. This cheese is made using 100% vegetarian rennet without any preservatives or artificial flavours.

Source of Milk: Cow.

Ageing: 12 weeks.

Texture: Semi-hard.

Taste: Hot, and creamy.

Best Served With: The Antipasto style party platter may contain cheese, olives, pate, dips, crackers, cured meats, pickled vegetables.

Wine Best Paired With: Beaujolais, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Red Zinfandel, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc.
